When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you submit a booking inquiry, we collect pet details, requested dates, and any notes you provide. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) and analytics data through PostHog to understand how the site is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Retriever platform
• Send your booking inquiry to the pet resort you selected
• Send you a confirmation email for each inquiry
• Provide customer support
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Information Sharing

We share your inquiry information (name, pet details, requested dates) with the resort you contact so they can respond to you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for transactional email, and PostHog for analytics — each governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics are collected server-side or through PostHog with IP anonymization enabled.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Inquiry records are kept for 24 months to support your booking history. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
